Sonar (2024)
Acrylic, spray paint, paper collage and pencil on acid-free, archival paper
18 x 24
Troy David Ramos
This work considers the effects of sound pollution on wildlife. The artist used colors and drawings of an actual roadmap as the basis for depicting a construction site which ran through a major road and a residential area. It’s a visual depiction from the perspective of nonhuman life, and considers how sonic waves reverberate through their habitats.
