Trails (2024)
Acrylic, spray paint, paper collage and pencil on acid-free, archival paper
18 x 24
Troy David Ramos
In this work, the artist was inspired from a hike in the hills of a Los Angeles suburb to create a work which depicted the expanding nature of human civilization into wildlife territory. The artist based the work on a Google Earth image taken where he hiked, and reimagined the landscape into a painting through the lens of birds and other wildlife.
